Stephen
Owner
Stephen is the driving force behind Stark Contractors Ltd, bringing over a decade of hands-on experience in construction management and facilities contracts. Before founding the company, Stephen worked his way up from the tools to become a respected Site Manager, eventually overseeing large-scale projects as a Facilities Contracts Manager. This career progression laid the foundation for launching Stark Contractors in 2022 with a vision to deliver higher standards in property maintenance and fire safety.
Stephen leads with passion, precision, and a deep understanding of how to deliver quality from concept to completion. He takes immense pride in seeing each project evolve—from initial planning through to final handover—ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard.
Under his leadership, the company has grown rapidly—now operating from a dedicated commercial unit in Lincoln, delivering certified BM TRADA fire door services, and working with housing associations, councils, and national contractors. His commitment to excellence has earned the company a Central England Prestige Award and a reputation as one of the region’s most trusted providers
Stuart
Fire Door Division Manager
With over 20 years of experience in bespoke joinery, Stuart brings a wealth of craftsmanship and technical expertise to Stark Contractors Ltd. His portfolio spans everything from precision RAF bespoke works to intricate listed building restorations, showcasing his ability to handle complex, heritage-sensitive projects with care and skill.
Stuart is also a BM TRADA-certified Fire Door Installer at the highest level, delivering compliant, high-standard installations across commercial and residential properties.
Having successfully managed multi-million-pound construction projects, Stuart combines hands-on expertise with leadership and project delivery experience—ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible standard.
Nigel
Maintenance Division Manager
Nigel brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in the property maintenance and construction industry. With a strong background in joinery, he has worked extensively across RAF bases, hospitals, commercial sites, and residential properties, delivering high-quality results in demanding environments.
As Maintenance Manager at Stark Contractors Ltd, Nigel oversees our Hard FM operations, coordinating trades and ensuring each project runs smoothly, safely, and to specification. His expertise spans kitchen installations, full home renovations, and fire door installations, giving him a practical edge in both planning and delivery.
Known for his eye for detail and calm leadership on site, Nigel ensures that every job—large or small—is completed to the highest standards.
